Bowling for Moms

This past Saturday night Meaningful Motherhood and Grace Student Ministries hosted over 150 people at Dutch Lanes for a fundraiser bowling night. Lots of families were able to spend time together while bowling, eating pizza, and hanging out. The event raised over $1,200 for House of His Creation, a local ministry dedicated to serving birthmothers and their children.

You have been a blessing to us. Meaningful Moms are a great support to us with collections for our needs and inviting us to the Mother’s Day Tea and other events. Your youth are great too! Thanks for everything! Love, HOHC Staff & Residents

Thanks to all who came out for the event! We are so grateful to be able to support a local ministry that is actively sharing God’s love with people. Here is a recent story of how God is working through the ministry of House of His Creation:

Messiah and several other moms in our care were working through a DVD Bible study called “The Shelter of God’s Promises” by Sheila Walsh, with Deb, our House Mom. After completing a few lessons, Messiah had a HUGE revelation and commented, “I never knew this stuff. I never knew how much God loves me. I never knew about His promises. I have made some not so good decisions. This is going to change how I look at things and what I do.” What a moment! Everyone had goosebumps… Your lives tell a story; what you say, who you are and what you do points to Jesus and draws others closer to Him.
