We, His Ambassadors…

haiti 2It’s interesting how God often “chooses” the current themes of the engagethroughgrace blog for us. Lately, it’s been all about calling and our stepping out in faith to fulfill it. And we’re thankful we have this blog to share about it with you. Whether it’s through the writing of Johnny Carr in Orphan Justice; the answers of our Hope to the Oppressed families about their call to adopt or foster; or an individual’s testimony of what God is doing in their life, the theme is clear: God is calling ALL of us. It doesn’t matter if you’re 20 years old or…not  20 anymore. Be encouraged to take some time today focusing on His call on your life, read it in His Word. Every morning we awake bathed in His unfailing compassion, reminded that, by His power and grace, we have been made new. We, His Ambassadors…

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are                                ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.                                                           (2 Cor. 5:18-20a)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.                       (1 Peter 2:9)

Stay tuned in to the engagethroughgrace blog, we have some exciting pieces coming up of including the testimonies of some of our Grace Church Family who are answering God’s call on their lives.
